Quarantine Home-cook Recipe

During covid -19 crisis , the safest way for us is to stay home & social distancing but it could gets really boring , so lock-down cooking/ baking became one of the top quarantine activities . Today , i am going to share another easy recipe that wont take you forever to cook & its absolutely delicious ;)



You Ready ?!!


Japaneses fried chicken aka ( karaage )

Who doesn't like a good bite of fried chicken that is, fatty , juicy on the inside crispy on the outside ??!!


Ingredients ( 3-4 servings )

1lb skin-on chicken thigh ,cubed ( thighs are much tender , juicier & flavorful )

1 tbs sake

1 tsp sugar

2 tbs soy sauce

1 tbs ginger , grated

1-2 cloves garlic , minced

1/2 egg , beaten

dash of white pepper

corn starch

cooking oil

Time to cook !


1 ) In a large bowl , put in chicken cubes ,sake ,sugar ,soy sauce , ginger & garlic , mix them all together .Cover it with a lid or a plastic wrap and let it chill in the fridge & marinate for at least 15 -20 mins .


2 ) After 15 mins , add beaten egg and corn starch to the chicken , and well mixed together .


3 ) Turn the oil to high heat ,( 170'F ) .Fry the chicken cubes until it turns golden brown and fully cooked .

4) Lastly ,you can garnish your fried chicken with lemon or seaweed flakes ( this step is completely optional )


5 ) ENJOY !!!
